THE ROYAL OLYMPIC
We have reserved rooms at a fabulous hotel with wonderful group rates. The Royal Olympic is a 5-star hotel located 21.7 miles from the Athens International Airport and 6.6 miles from Piraeus Harbor where your cruise departs. You are welcome to stay there as many nights as you would like directly before or after the cruise at the same group rates. You will just need to indicate the nights on the registration form.
The Royal Olympic is situated right in front of the Temple of Olympian Zeus. It is a 15-minute walk to the Acropolis and a 4-minute walk to the picturesque Plaka, the oldest and most beautiful neighborhood in Athens with its labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is known for having the best restaurants in Athens as well as being its main shopping district.
Breakfast is included and served in the IOANNIS Rooftop Restaurant with panoramic views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. Here, guests can also taste traditional Greek cuisine or enjoy a cocktail.
The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, a library, an office center, and a fitness center.
THE ROOMS
There are three different types of rooms to choose from - all elegantly decorated and soundproofed units with these amenities: free WiFi (throughout the hotel), bath or shower, free toiletries, hair dyer, desk, minibar, safety deposit box, air purifier, wake up service/alarm clock, single room air conditioning and heating, telephone, and television with cable and satellite channels. Multilingual staff is available 24/7. The Athenian Panorama Suites also offer slippers and a separate seating area. Each room is unique.
