Although nothing in life is certain, this is the Joan Peace Travel guarantee to you. We will cancel the tour if there is escalated conflict in our predominant areas of travel. Vered Hasharon Travel & Tours, our Israeli tour operator, has made it clear - in writing - that If God forbid, the conflict in Israel becomes concerningly intense or war escalates on these travel dates, up to one week before the tour begins in Israel (February 22, 2026), we can cancel the tour. You would then receive a full refund for the land portion, including your $400 deposit.
FLIGHTS: It is your responsibility to procure your own flights, but I am happy to help if you are in need of assistance. Keep in mind, cost of flights generally increase as it becomes closer to the date of departure. I recommend purchasing fully refundable flight tickets or those that can be used as vouchers should the tour be cancelled. El Al airlines is currently providing vouchers for just $29 that can be used by you, your friends, or your family in the future. Call El Al to confirm. El Al is partnered with Delta regarding the use of points. El Al has been the most reliable airlines over the past few years. If you take another airline, it would be advisable to land in Athens or Vienna or another city where you can then book a shorter flight on El Al to Tel Aviv.
